You know you are in a household.......if someone moves more quietly when you are asleep, ...If people know things about you that you do not know yourself, and if you did know you would seek to hide, ... If you sometimes dream of running away so you wouldn't be so well known, ...If your return from a long trip sparks a spontaneous celebration. Are you part of a Household?"
Join Tennison and Ginelle as they conclude their conversation with Jessica. Listen in as they discuss how we go from strangers to belonging at the Table. Even though the desire and result of the Table is belonging, safety, and connection. The heart is not for safety, belonging, and connection to Table and Well, it is to God's Family Table!

Join us as we continue our conversation with Jessica Mullen, listen in as she shares the exact moment in time when she realized what the God's Family should be and how we should act. Also, hear as we discuss a situation that in normal settings could have been very offencive, but because of the safety and maturity the Table creates it was a very beautiful and healing moment for the people involved and those who witnessed it.

Join us as we continue our conversation with Jessica Mullen and unpack Household a little more. How the absence of the Household/Community actually could rob us of some very simple childhood maturity skills such as know what we need and asking for it. Like at the Table, in a Household we experience the "with-ness" of other and God.
Listen in as discuss how the Table allows us to go to the appropriate depth of connection to be what we need to be for each other in the moment and be the seed that creates Community.

In this episode we conclude our conversation with Derek and April as the continue to explore the idea of not being OK. Also, learn how their first time at the Table challenged their previous experiences involving "church" gatherings, but was exactly what they have been looking for. Derek has seen and experienced the level of safety and authenticity but it was in a work setting but not ever in a Christian one. The connection that was felt at the Table was something that they wanted and tried to foster for years.
Derek and April will also answer the question, "The Table to me Is...? Both answers are truly amazing and you don't want to miss it.
