We want to flesh this out and see some different aspects of what we we mean when we talk about authentic. Today we will focus on you being you. Discipleship can be something that we feel is going to give us more than we can handle or that we just don't have everything we need. We will learn from Jesus today with the familiar story of the feeding of the 5,000. God is at work in us and around us. We need to believe that God has given us everything we need to continue the mission.

Jesus put a plan in place for the disciples to carry out. He says in Acts 1:8, that we will be his witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, to the ends of the earth. Conservative estimates show that by the year 300 A.D. there were about 6 million Christians. Today we have been impacted by the same message in a whole different place and culture. What is holding you back from making disciples, who then make disciples?

Today we will conclude the stages with the spiritual parent. We could create all kinds of different stages after this- mid-life, or even elderly. But there is no retirement stage because we never retire from discipleship. People in this stage do not have greater worth. The Body of Christ is made up of all stages and everyone has worth. What does a parent look like and what do they need to grow? That is what we'll look at today.
