Tabor Church

Today we are going to explore 2 Corinthians 4:18. Paul is trying to get us to think about perspective. There is the seen and the unseen, which one will we focus on? If we are fixing our eyes on something, don't you think it should be the seen and the physical? Let's talk about it.

We are closing out the week as we talk about one of the major themes of Advent...Hope. We all need hope, but hope is in short supply. Hope has been hijacked into some sort of wishful thinking. We are going to talk about the true source of Hope that we read in Romans 15:13. Enjoy!

Today we are going to spend a little bot more time talking about Elizabeth and Zechariah. They were the subject of the first message in our Advent series, but we spent more time on John (their offspring) than we did on the couple. So here is a little bit more insight into the couple. Enjoy!

Today we are talking about Advent. We do use the verse Psalm 27:14 to reinforce the waiting aspect of Advent. We do spend some time talking about preparation and the silly things that some people try and use from God's Word to not celebrate or put up trees.

Today we are going to talk about Ephesians 4:30-32. Paul says we should not make the Holy Spirit sad with our actions. This would be a great season for us to start taking Paul's advice. Enjoy!

Today is a bit longer because we are talking about a text that has 12-15 different topics that we could spend a whole episode on. So we will scratch the surface on John 4:7-26 and bring out a handful of topics. I encourage you to spend some time with this text and learn a whole bunch more.

Today we are going to talk about a familiar verse Luke 19:45-46. Jesus is flipping tables and calling people out. Jesus shouldn't be too mad, the Gentile court was established as a marketplace. Jesus should just take it easy, right?

Today we are jumping into some wisdom literature. Proverbs 22:22-23 was written by a very wealthy individual and he has some guidance for us today. We should be speaking up for those who don't have a voice.
