Tabor Church

We are starting the week talking about authority. Paul has some words in Ephesians 6:1-4 for Children and parents. Paul points us back to the Big 10 to the commandment with a promise. This is the foundation for how we see everyone else. Take a listen and see what you can learn.

We are closing out the week with a look Mark 6:30-34. We see Jesus and the disciples  are worn out and they are going to take a nap...but Jesus sees the people. They are a people that lack a leader and without a leader people long for something bigger. Enjoy!

Today we are looking at a transitional verse in scripture between two very well known stories of Jesus. Matthew 14:21-23 falls right after the feeding of the 5,000 and right before Jesus walks on water. "...He went up into the hills by himself to pray." That is what we are talking about today.

Today we are going to go through a different translation of Psalm 23. Because Psalm 23 has many emotions or memories attached to the traditional translations, I have decided to go to a less traditional and see what we can learn. Hope you enjoy!

We are going to wrap up the week with a bit of difficult message. We are going to take a look at Job 6:8-13. Job is in conversation with friends and he is feeling crushed after his life did not go as planned. If you are feeling crushed, its time to reach out.

Today is a simple message that when we look at it seems very complicated. Luke 9:23-25 is where Jesus speaks very plainly with a big call, "If you want to follow me, take up your cross..." We want to find a way out of the entire call but we need to consider Jesus words.

Today we are going to talk about the thoughts of God. Did you know that God thinks of you? We are going to explore 139:17-18, which is a Psalm of David. David is lifting up the all knowing God and marveling at the thoughts that can't be numbered. It is amazing!

What are you willing to take a stand on? Over the years the things we are willing to do or not do have moved. We are going to take a look at Daniel 3 and the Rack, Shack and Benny story and see what they would and would not do. There are things we should stand on.
