This week is yet another week where one of us had something on our mind and the other had absolutely no idea what the show was about. We ended up speaking on toxic family, friends, co-workers…basically, anyone in your life that’s making it harder and not easier. We gave some advice in this episode, but mostly just spoke on how we’ve had to deal with the toxic people in our lives and what we’ve done and tried to cope.

This week, we decided to express our feelings on the most recent mass shootings. There were two shootings, first in El Paso, Texas, and then in Dayton, Ohio, are the latest instances of deadly mass shootings in 2019. We almost didn't bother talking about this, but (as we've been doing lately) one of us had it on our mind and the other had no idea what we were about to talk about, so what you hear is our first and only conversation about this topic.

Last week, we talked a bit about the #cucumberchallenge and it got us to thinking: What is too much to share with others when you're in a relationship? How far is too far? You'd think having a podcast as a married couple presents a bit of a challenge on what to share and what not to share. We've never had a talk on or off the mic about what we should or shouldn't share about our marriage, but is there a such thing as being too transparent? Does the concept of "house business" even exist anymore?

This week, we decided to talk about this podcast. We’ve never really celebrated any of the milestones, but we’re approaching 150 episodes and wanted to take a quick look back at some of the episodes we’ve done. We also thought it would be interesting to briefly re-discuss some of the episodes we either liked or stuck in our memory for one reason or another (that and we had no other ideas…just being honest).

This week, we decided to talk about this podcast. We've never really celebrated any of the milestones, but we're approaching 150 episodes and wanted to take a quick look back at some of the episodes we've done. We also thought it would be interesting to briefly re-discuss some of the episodes we either liked or stuck in our memory for one reason or another (that and we had no other ideas...just being honest).

This week, we are talking about music...sorta. We've noticed lately (for whatever reason) we've not been able to listen to or watch as much of the "entertainment" we used to in the past. Whether it's music that has negative or derogatory lyrics or if it's a movie or TV show that doesn't fit into the direction we feel we want to go into, we have been increasingly unable to consume things that seem to be getting more and more toxic. Add to this the conversation Jermaine Dupri got started recently and we had to air out how we felt about the entire environment as we see it.
