Neil Fitzpatrick has been a member of Clonakilty based drama group “Tadhg an Astna Players” for the last three years. In this time he has acted in many of their short plays. All of these plays being original plays written by members of this talented group. While working at the Irish Wheelchair Association, Resource and Outreach Centre, Clonakilty, Neil was asked to present a drama program to the service users. This presented Neil with the opportunity to write his own short sketch. “I wanted to use a sketch that had short, quick exchange dialogue, so that the service users could read the parts and not have to do any actions and that is how “Afternoon Tea” came to be!
