Chelsea and Jade are back in the OG studio for some politics and pop culture chat. They discuss pride in 50 years, Megan Rapinoe, women's sports, and more.
Also, do they still make Sierra Mist?
So...this didn't go how we planned, HOWEVER this episode we get to know Chelsea and Jess a little more. They talk about everything from summer outings to butts.
Hold on to your hats. If you can get through this, you can get through anything.
Our special guest co-host Jess is back with Chelsea...in a new studio!
Washington, D.C.'s Capital Pride is this weekend and we break the ice about what we're really going to do during pride.
Jess and Chelsea speak about Taiwan legalizing same sex marriage and 45's baseless "intention" to protect our worldwide community. We also discuss putting together game plans with your sweetie to handle tough family situations, and visible queer leadership in the workplace.
We are excited to have self-taught chef Rhiannon Daniels on this month's episode of the GAG. She focuses on plant based food diets and overall healthy eating.
After watching documentaries, she came across plant base food/vegan restaurants. "Being around those people [and establishments] I adopted the understanding why veggies was helpful to our bodies," she says. She talks about food access, tips to gradually getting into eating healthier, eating on a budget; and leaves us with a recipe you can try at home.
What's trending on Tagg this week? We discuss the Tagg Magazine article "Office Outings: The Road to Coming Out in the Workplace."
We start with the episode with discussing how we work on our self-care and self-worth. We also take some time to discuss the targeted hate crime against Tagg Magazine on April 25, 2019. You can read the statement by clicking here.
Join us next week for The Gag.
We have a special guest joining us for our pop culture and politics week. Jess is a long-time listener...and maybe a critical reviewer ;-)
In this episode, we take some time to watch Taylor's Swift new music video "Me." We discuss how we thought Taylor would come out on Lesbian Visibility Day...but no.
We can't end the episode without a little politics. Democrats are out of control with a butt load of presidential candidates. The whole thing is making us nervous. Trump can't win again, right?!
We're going back with an episode from April 2017. This was right about the time when Ashley was still a newbie to the Tagg Nation crew. Can you feel the chemistry?
In this blast from the past episode, the Tagg Nation hosts have an impromptu ice breaker, talk about the podcast's favorite mom, and YouTube censorship.
We jump right into pop culture this episode. Did you hear about Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner declaring her attraction to men and women? Ariana Grande also hints at this in one of her songs. We discuss their declaration of not labeling themselves. Is this a win for the LGBTQ community or queer baiting?
Also, Jade breaks down the Equality Act and why it's important for all of us to know about it.
It's Queer History with Jade!
You've been asking for it, so we are returning with our Gayborhood series with Part 1 of Atlanta. We kick things off starting with 1837 to 1979.
Also, Chelsea hips us to a little Black gay slang. Do you know what a bussy is?
