Here's the simple rule, decide what you want and write it down. If you don't write it down, then you're not going to start going in that direction. What I've done is order several of those really large Post-its that stick on the wall. You know, they're this big. I have different marking pens, and I write the kinds of ideas that I'm trying to work on for the new year, the goals, and so forth. Then I put them up so I can see them all the time. Whatever way you do it, it's a good time of year to plan, think, and make your goals for the year.
