That was a key message from Dawn Chisolm, People Experience Advocate at Papercut Software when we sat down for a virtual chat in episode 3 of Taken Seriously.
But how do you look out for someone when personal interaction is taken out of the equation? Without those chance encounters at the coffee machine, or on the way into the office, reading someone’s mood is much, much trickier, says Dawn.
Supporting team members as Papercut Software continue to work remotely is an ongoing challenge for Dawn.
Join Dawn and Lauren from Grace Personnel, as we talk about helping employees from afar, the challenges of remote wellbeing support, and the importance of mental health first aiders at work.

Many HR professionals worked overtime to support their company’s employees at the expense of taking the R&R they themselves desperately needed.
People either love their HR teams or they don’t. They’re corporate marmite.
I chat about this mindset shift with the insightful Michelle Phillips - HR Country Leader UK & Ireland, Nordics for BMC Software.
