The 2025-26 BKT EuroCup season is about to tip off and with it marks the return of the TTC Gone Traveling podcast. David Hein is joined by Italian basketball reporter Marco Munno to discuss each of the 20 teams in the field.

We look at some of the teams we feel will preform really well as well as some who will struggle. Other topics are some of the fascinating coaching changes the teams have undertaken as well as who are the top contenders for the Rising Star award.

The podcast continues with some of the players we will be most following and then we finish off with a look at who might be crowned MVP and make the All-EuroCup First Team when it’s all said and done.

The Road to Greatness is over! Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv are the champions of the 2024-25 BKT EuroCup! After a wild season of personnel moves, Hapoel swept Dreamland Gran Canaria 2-0 in the Finals to win the first European trophy in the club’s 52-year history. They also became the first Israeli team to win the EuroCup since Hapoel Jerusalem in 2003-04. Oh, and Hapoel are bound for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague! And they have already made some headlines about players they would like to add for next season.

Sergio Llebres and David Hein review Hapoel’s two victories in the Finals - what made the difference and how the Israelis finished the job in two games. They also look ahead to Hapoel Tel Aviv in the EuroLeague next season and some of the big names that are being linked to the club already.

Sergio and Dave also share some of their most memorable moments from the past season and how they will remember the 2024-25 campaign.

We have reached the end of the 2024-25 BKT EuroCup Regular Season and we have a playoffs bracket. Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius, Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul and Buducnost VOLI Podgorica were the final three teams to make it from Group A while U-BT Cluj-Napoca and Umana Reyer Venice grabbed the final two spots from Group B. Missing out on the post-season are ratiopharm Ulm from Group A and 2024 runners-up Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse from Group B.

We start with Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana losing at Veolia Towers Hamburg and what that means for the Balkan side in the playoffs picture. We move onto the big game between Ulm and Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv - both teams having plenty to play for in the matchup. Our top performers are De’Shawn Stephens from Cluj and Stefan Jovic from Valencia Basket. Our surprise performances came from George Conditt of Dreamland Gran Canrara and Wolves’ Matas Jogela.
