The No Bullsh*t Guide to a Happier Life

Taking Up Space | The No Bullsh*t Guide to Taking Up Space

Listen Later

Welcome to episode 22. Today I’m talking about how we can achieve personal growth when the people around us are hindering our abilities to make the positive change or we believe we must behave in a limiting way. By keeping ourselves small, we are preventing the kinds of personal growth opportunities we need to live the happiest and most fulfilling lives possible. So how do we identify the behaviours that are holding us back (in ourselves and others) and how do we take action to stop or reverse it?

In this episode:

  • How to identify the people who are keeping us small - how and why they might be doing it.
  • How we can we help ourselves and support others to take up more space in a healthy and constructive way.
  • Reassurance that changing our behaviour or calling someone out on theirs will only bring good things, there is nothing to fear.
