The title is true, but both topics are separate. Working clean is what I do. I have people ask me all the time how I can be a pastor and a standup comic? I don't always understand the question, but it dawned on me that many people correlate comedy with swearing and risky topics. I aim to be a comic all ages can enjoy. However, that does create some tension at times since some "blue" comics don't feel comfortable working with clean comics. Sometimes it feels like I'm secluded because I am clean and I don't necessarily fit in with the "blue" comics, so they don't ask me to be on their shows or feel like they can't show up to the mics I host. I clarify the topic and how I work with all people. I would love to hear what you think about this, especially if you're a comic.
