I'm talking about fear of letting people down. I stumble a bit in this episode, but I decided to keep it original. I didn't record a new episode, I just went with what I started with. Why? Because I'm pushing through the fear of letting you down. Enjoy!

In this episode, I do a podcast crossover with the Laughbox Podcast. I have a great conversation with Katy Bee and Jim-Bob Williams about comedy as therapy and why imposter syndrome isn't necessarily a bad thing. I hope you enjoy this discussion. Also, you might hear me share my information because I forgot to edit out that part they shared on their podcast, so yeah.
Katy and Jim-Bob are therapeutic humorists that share their humor through writing. improv, and stand-up. Both are very funny and I am honored to call them friends.

The title is true, but both topics are separate. Working clean is what I do. I have people ask me all the time how I can be a pastor and a standup comic? I don't always understand the question, but it dawned on me that many people correlate comedy with swearing and risky topics. I aim to be a comic all ages can enjoy. However, that does create some tension at times since some "blue" comics don't feel comfortable working with clean comics. Sometimes it feels like I'm secluded because I am clean and I don't necessarily fit in with the "blue" comics, so they don't ask me to be on their shows or feel like they can't show up to the mics I host. I clarify the topic and how I work with all people. I would love to hear what you think about this, especially if you're a comic.
