There are lots of opportunities to address perceived talent shortages and close workforce gaps. One big opportunity is tightening up your talent funnel. It’s one thing to attract and engage talent, it’s another to move them elegantly, intelligently, and respectfully through your talent funnel and - hopefully - into your business. And what about those who don’t get hired? Why don’t we keep talking to them about the next or another opportunity? Just ask any sales team worth its salt — a sales team doesn’t reject the sales lead if they aren’t ready to buy. They get nurtured. So why do we cut the relationship with the candidate when they say ‘not yet'? (Nice mic drop, Adam.)
