We had again a nice voting round last week, 99 people voted. Thank you all for voting. You won't have to wait too long to hear the winner of this week because I will play the winning song already in about 12 minutes. When you listen to Finish radio, you might get the impression they don't make good music in Finland. That's not true and gladly some of the good Finish artists join TalentCast. Today you will hear 3 of them. We start the program with the first one.

I frequently check our archive with music, looking for nice songs to play. Last week I came across some nice songs some of our regular listeners, who listen already for many years, will remember for sure.

Last week we added a new button to our menu with players. It's the button with the picture of a mobile phone on it. You can use this player on your tablet or mobile phone when you are not at home and cannot use Wi-Fi. Every month we select a video out of the requests we got. The winner will be our Videoclip of the Month and featured in the player on the home page of our website. The first band we play today is the winner of this month, Chabliz from the Netherlands. The recording of this week's edition ended in a small adventure. Halfway the program the electricity turned off, followed by a lot of noise caused by the alarm of our UPS (the device that takes over delivering electricity when it suddenly falls away). The batteries seem to be suddenly broken without any warning. Website down, recoding lost and a big bill for new batteries. Gladly there is only good music in this week's edition, so is was not a big deal to record the program again.

Starting this week, there are going to be even more ways to listen to TalentCast. Our podcast is now available not only in the iTunes directory, but also in the directories of Windows Phone and BlackBerry. The voting was rather quiet last week, but for once I don't mind because I am very happy with the winner. I have played this band 14 times already and this is the first time they won the Song of the Week competition. You will hear towards the end of the program who they are.

Last week's voting round was a nice one again, 58 of our listeners voted for the song they liked the most. We have one newcomer this week and also a lot of songs from artists you might know already.

We got quite many uploads this week. I will play 5 newcomers today, some brand new songs from artists I have played before, some older songs and of course the Song of the Week winner. Last week's voting was a bit disappointing, just 16 of our listeners voted, but anyway we have a winner. You will hear who won towards the end of the program.

I am not in the best mood at the moment, but gladly there is one medicine that really helps: Good music! In this program, you will hear one newcomer, some songs I really like, of course our Song of the Week winner and more interesting music.
