The days are getting shorter and colder in the northern hemisphere. No, this is not my favourite time of the year. We have some good news: Starting this week we get even better broadcast times on Ede FM. We are now broadcast twice during daytime and thrice at the end of the evening, so 5 times a week. These are the new broadcast times: Friday: 11pm - 12pm Sunday: 12pm - 1am Monday: 5pm - 6pm Tuesday: 3pm - 4pm Wednesday: 12pm - 1am

We got quite many uploads last weeks, brand new songs from artists we have played before and songs from newcomers. Of course we will play some of them today, but we start the program with a comeback from an artist some of you still might remember.

Last week we made our first radio show after our summer break. What a good start! We had many more listeners than we are used to. We hope you liked it and that you will tune in again.

This is the first show after our summer break. I am glad the break is over because I am in the mood to make the weekly radio program again. We have 3 newcomers for you today, a request from one of our listeners, the Song of the Week winner who won the last voting round before our summer break and some new songs from artists we have played before.

Because this the last program before our summer break, I will play mainly the music I am in the mood for at the moment. The music will be less peaceful than what you are used to. It was very hot in the Netherlands at the time of recording, a good reason to start the show with some nice sunny tunes.

Perhaps you read on our Facebook page that there were some problems with the voting round of last week. One of the fans of one of the bands we played had voted many times in a dishonest way and we had to remove those votes. Please feel welcome to vote, but don’t force what you like upon others by cheating the voting, because that really doesn’t help your favourite artist or band and takes away our joy of running this project.
