The days are short, cold and windy here and this is our last show for 2013, so let’s end the year with good music. I will play some of my favourites and 2 newcomers.

It's almost Christmas, so I will play a handful of Christmas songs today and a lot other peaceful music. I will also talk a bit less than you are used to. Perhaps this is a nice program to listen to when you are together with your family and friends?

We have two newcomers for you this week, one from Italy and one from the US. You will hear the winner of the Song of the Week competition somewhere halfway the program.

Last week one of the bands we played invited a lot of fans and friends to vote for them. The result is that we have a very clear winner this week. Somewhere halfway the program you'll hear who won.

We had a quiet voting round last week, and mainly smokers voted, I guess. Why? You will hear the answer towards the end of the program.

I have something to look forward to because the first band I am playing today I will see live in CC Muziekcafé Amsterdam next Monday the 18th. Chabliz from the Netherlands will play together with Joel Sarakula from the UK and Catself from Finland. The details are on our Gigs and Events page.

Universe Radio asked me for some suggestions for Albums of the Week. Those albums will get a lot of attention for one week on Universe Radio. A good reason for me to play some songs from released albums.

Starting this week 2 more radio stations will broadcast TalentCast: Fame Music Radio in South Africa and Freedom Choice Radio in Florida, US. Thank you both for broadcasting our program and of course welcome to our new listeners. In this edition 2 brand new songs from 2 brand new albums. We start the program with the first one.
