  • Talk AEW Podcast: The Future of the Inner Circle and Dark
    AEW Wrestling Podcast
This week on Talk AEW, we start the show by discussing the MJF/Chris Jericho storyline and how we think it will play out, and what story we would want to see unfold. Will Sammy Guevara turn into a babyface? Will Sammy stab Jericho in the back? Can MJF and Jericho co-exist as members of the Inner Circle? Will the faction break up or will MJF lose in his match against the Demo God at the next pay-per-view event, Full Gear? We answer all these questions and more.
In our main event, we discuss why we love AEW Dark and how the company can improve its weekly YouTube show. Towards the end of the episode, we segue into a conversation about the rankings and why AEW should perhaps consider doing away with the idea. For all this and more, tune in to another jam-packed episode of Talk AEW!
Listen to the show on Podbean, iTunes, YouTube and Spotify.

  • AEW TALK: One Year of Dynamite and 30 years of Jericho
When AEW launched its flagship show Dynamite on TNT last year, it marked the first time since 2014 that WWE faced direct competition from a global promotion on a major cable network. The show’s debut drew 1.4 million viewers and proved that there was a large audience looking for something to watch outside of what was being produced by Vince McMahon. Fast forward a year later and AEW has been one of the bright spots in what has been a tough year. Dynamite is arguably one of the most exciting programs on television; Dark has become the best thing to watch on YouTube and almost every AEW pay-per-view event has been a runaway success!
One year later and we finally decided to put together our very one podcast breaking down the good, the bad, and the downright amazing moments of each episode of Dynamite, Dark, and each pay-per-view. Yes, folks, there are plenty of AEW podcasts, but we guarantee this is one of the best you’ll hear!
In the inaugural episode of Talk AEW, Ian Goodwillie, Ricky D and Mariko McDonald sit down to talk about the career of Le Champion, Chris Jericho and the 30-year anniversary special held on October 9 at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. In the main event, the gang discusses the one-year anniversary show of Dynamite and everything good and bad about it. All this and more!

  • AEW Dynamite: One Year Down, Many to Go
AEW Dynamite debuted on October 2nd, 2019. After the past few months, that seems like a lifetime ago. There was a lot of hype going into the first episode of AEW’s new show, as wrestling fans looked for a viable alternative to WWE. Many of WWE’s wrestlers were looking for the same thing.
While they had pay-per-view events leading into it, the first episode of Dynamite was a huge benchmark for a company that was still new. It put them on a direct collision course with WWE every Wednesday evening. Specifically, Dynamite has spent the last year feuding with NXT and generally winning.

  • Talk AEW: 30 Years of Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho blinked and 30 years in a wrestling ring went by. It probably feels that way for a lot of his fans, too. Following someone’s career, these days is actually relatively easy thanks to the internet. If a wrestler drinks some water, several websites cover it. But it was a much different story back in the day.
