We are at our new postseason setup recording from Santa Monica, and couldn't be more excited to talk Dodger baseball! Our team took the first two games in Milwaukie and we couldn't be happier to be coming back to Dodger Stadium with 2 wins. Feels familiar?!

Our starting pitching is almost leaving us speechless... but of course we could not stop raving about how great our guys have been. Snell's dominant outing, Yamamoto's complete game, Teo heating up, Muncy hitting the ball out of the park, wow! Our team is playing their best baseball right now and we are absolutely loving it!

And Dodger fans, we are hosting a watch party this Friday for Game 4 at 33 taps downtown. We can't wait to cheer on our team together!

Game 3 here we come, let's go dodgers!

Our Dodgers are moving on... and Melissa lost her voice cheering them on so loudly! We couldn't be happier to be recording this episode after watching the Dodgers beat the Phillies in what was one of the most wild endings to a game! We could barely sit in our seats at the stadium watching this final game of the series go down - and we tell you all about our experience. From Tyler's dominance, to our "X-Factor" Roki, to the incredible defense on both sides, we are so proud of our boys!

Melissa and Jaclyn talk about that game ending play and what they would say to the Phillies pitcher, Orion Kerkering. They talk about the wheel play (because who isn't), the other series going on, what players are standing out to them and so much more. Let's hope the Dodgers keep winning, so we can keep talking about them!

The Dodgers are advancing to the NLDS! Goodbye to the Reds and hello to the Phillies! FYI, this episode was recorded on Wednesday before Game 2 so the girls are recapping everything that happened during Game 1.

Before they do, the girls reminisce on meeting each other as they are coming up on their one-year anniversary. Melissa shares a story about a medium reading she had last week. Jaclyn reflects on Dodger teams from the past and why this team has the fire.

Dodger Stadium was rocking from Shohei starting the series off with a home run, Snell's dominant performance and Teo's bat heating up, they had so much to talk about. And yes, the bullpen. Frustrations are at an all time high and we get into it all.

Dodger fans, we have Kirsten Watson on the podcast today! Kirsten is a 2x Columbia graduate and a former D1 volleyball player. She works with the NFL, the Rams, and you know her as the Dodgers host and sideline reporter.

Kirsten started working for the Dodgers in 2020 and had quite an intro into baseball and the Dodgers coming in during Covid protocols. She shared how she overcame those early struggles, all about growing up as an athlete, her journey of pursuing a career in broadcasting and how she landed the job with the Dodgers.

Of course we had to get her viewpoint on Clayton Kershaw's retirement announcement. She also shared insights on our players and the clubhouse, which teammates you never see without the other, how she feels about the postseason and how she takes care of herself and sets herself up for success during the grueling baseball season. We loved getting to know Kirsten more, and we know you will, too.

We have the President of the Dodgers, Stan Kasten on the podcast today! Stan was so gracious to answer all of our questions, you can really feel how much he cares about the Dodgers and giving back to the fans.

First, we record an intro after interviewing Stan and discuss how we think it went. Our team is playing well, and we were happy to get into this week of Dodger baseball. Of course, we shared our players of the week.

We asked Stan about where his love of sports started, what it was like becoming the GM of a team at 27, running multiple teams at the same time and what got him to LA.

Stan talked about the culture of the Dodgers and how important it is to him to meet fans around the stadium. We asked him what it's like to watch Shohei embrace being a Dodger, Clayton Kershaw's legacy, and so much more.

We hear the organization say how much they focus on giving back to the fans, and it really shows. We were happy to share our gratitude with Stan. Hope you enjoy!

We have Dodgers Nations very own Doug McKain on the podcast today! Doug is a lifelong Dodger fan and has done an incredible job covering the Dodgers for years. We couldn't be more excited to talk Dodgers with him.

Not only does Doug tell us all his thoughts on the Dodgers season so far, but he shares amazing behind the scenes stories, his interactions and conversations with the players including Tanner Scott, Austin Barnes, Clayton Kershaw and which player got extremely heated with him in the clubhouse.

We got deep into stats with Doug including Mookie's incredible turnaround, how he believes this team will find their spark and his nightmare World Series situation which scared us so much that we had to tell him to stop!

We loved getting to know Doug more in this episode. He shared how he got into the Dodgers and why he loves baseball. He filled us in on what a day in his life looks like, and what it's been like covering the Dodgers for so many years - and some of the pushback he's received.

Melissa and Jaclyn are recording from home today because Melissa is sick just like our team, apparently. Or are we assuming they are sick because that's how they are playing? Regardless, the girls delay talking about their losing team and chat about some other things first, like what they did over the weekend and celebrating Melissa's birthday the night before.

The girls share about going to Saturday night's game against the Diamondbacks, meeting past fan episode guests Neil and Amy in person, sitting with new podcast listeners Justin and Jerry, and a new young baseball fan Jaclyn befriends.

Our team is playing cold and we are letting out all our frustrations. Is last season starting to affect this season? Are our players tired? Are they too banged up? We ask each other and try and figure out why our Dodgers have been so inconsistent! Don't worry, we still are staying positive for things to turn around. You got this, boys!!

Boy are we happy to be back in the number one spot! Our pitchers are coming back, our players are returning healthy and we are starting to see the team we knew we could be coming into this season! After an unfortunate series loss to the Padres, a heckler ignited Shohei and the Dodgers dugout to a game 3 win and a continued winning streak to become the first team this season to sweep the Reds, and an official season sweep of the Padres. And yes, we are okay saying it's a rivalry. It's a rivalry full of attitude and egos from a team who hasn't won before against the reigning World Series Champs - and yes, we get into all of it, including our thoughts on the Instagram live we did with two girls with a Padres podcast.Once we cooled down from talking about the Padres, we highlight Kershaw's amazing month of August, Sheehan's best outing yet, Mookie's defense and offense clicking, all while trying to understand how slumps happen. Will we ever truly know what goes into a slump? We try and make sense of the ups and downs that is baseball all while hoping our team maintains the number one spot!Melissa asks the team if they would be first pitch swingers and the girls give their players of the week. We are full of giggles today, and maybe still feeling the wine from the night before at Jaime Jarrin's annual foundation event at Dodger Stadium. So before we get into Dodger talk, we tell you all about Wine Night at the Ravine and the incredible work the Jaime and Blanca Jarrin Foundation is doing.

The girls talk about the event at Legends' Attic last week where they met Will Smith - and laugh about what Melissa muttered out when he walked by. And as they tried to take on the confidence he embodied being interviewed about the upcoming Padres series, after a tough losing streak for our team - Will was right and we swept the Padres! We share all our thoughts about Kershaw's winning energy and performance, Mookie's come back, Will Smith's incredible arm and much more.

The girls discuss the talk surrounding a possible MLB expansion and realignment, what uniforms are "fitting" on certain players, Kiké's mustache, Tommy Pham's outburst, and how much we adore Logan Webb's grandmothers, and our own, of course.

We are so excited to have Jerry Hairston Jr. on the podcast today! Jerry comes from the biggest MLB family and played 16 seasons himself for 9 different teams. He was on the 2009 World Series winning Yankees and ended his career with our Dodgers. You can now see him as an analyst for the Dodgers pre and post game shows. We asked Jerry all about growing up in the MLB, what it was like playing with and against Kershaw and now watching him hit milestone moments. We asked about taking BP off Tyler Glasnow, . We could have talked to Jerry all day, and truly loved hearing his stories, encouragement and thoughts about our team right now.But before we get to our interview with Jerry, we had to talk about the current state of our team. Melissa and Jaclyn discuss the Dodgers losing streak, the series against the Blue Jays and Angels, Shohei pitching against his former team, Mookie's comeback and what they think the Dodgers need to start playing better. They get into all their thoughts surrounding the upcoming Padres series and how they feel being tied for first in the NL West.
