  • EPISODE 64 - What is the importance of Christian baptism?
    What is Christian baptism?
Baptism is an act in which a Christian is immersed in water to symbolize the end of an old way of living and a new start. When you get baptized it is a testimony to God and people that you, by faith, will live a new life as an overcomer. Get bonus content on Patreon

  • EPISODE 63 - What does the Bible say about Christian tithing?
Many Christians struggle with the issue of tithing. In some churches giving is over-emphasized. At the same time, many Christians refuse to submit to the biblical exhortations about making offerings to the Lord. Tithing/giving is intended to be a joy and a blessing. Sadly, that is sometimes not the case in the church today. Get bonus content on Patreon

  • EPISODE 62 - Can a Christian lose salvation?
First, the term Christian must be defined. A “Christian” is not a person who has said a prayer or walked down an aisle or been raised in a Christian family. While each of these things can be a part of the Christian experience, they are not what makes a Christian. A Christian is a person who has fully trusted in Jesus Christ as the only Savior and therefore possesses the Holy Spirit (John 3:16; Acts 16:31; Ephesians 2:8–9). Get bonus content on Patreon

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit are unique skills and abilities given by the Holy Spirit to faithful followers of Christ to serve God for the common benefit of his people, the church. A listing of spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 mentions wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, speaking in tongues, and interpretation of tongues. Comparable gifts are discussed in Ephesians 4:7-13, Isaiah 11:2-3, and Romans 12:3-6 Get bonus content on Patreon

  • EPISODE 60 - WHAT HAPPEN AFTER DEATH
Within the Christian faith, there is a significant amount of confusion regarding what happens after death. Some hold that after death, everyone “sleeps” until the final judgment, after which everyone will be sent to heaven or hell. Others believe that at the moment of death, people are instantly judged and sent to their eternal destinations. Still, others claim that when people die, their souls/spirits are sent to “temporary” heaven or hell, to await the final resurrection, the final judgment, and then the finality of their eternal destination. So, what exactly does the Bible say happens after death? Get bonus content on Patreon

  • EPISODE 57 - THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOD AND SATAN
Emphasizing this stark contrast, Paul asks a series of questions in 2 Corinthians 6:14-15: "For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial?" The thrust of this is that the ways of Christ and Satan are as opposite as day and night, light and darkness (see also John 3:19-21; John 8:12; Ephesians 6:12).
The essence of Christ's character is revealed in His prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane the night before He gave His life in sacrifice: "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done" (Luke 22:42). Satan's attitude is diametrically opposite. Rather than submitting to God's perfect will, he became self-willed and determined to have his way at any cost. That attitude led to his initial rebellion against his Creator as described in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28. Regrettably, Satan has been remarkably successful at infusing a me-first, self-willed attitude Get bonus content on Patreon
