Last Saturday, I walked through a neighborhood near my home and discovered a large carving on the floor of the community square. Once I returned home, I researched it online and learned that these carvings were far from mere characters. They were actually the famous ancient Chinese reversible poem “Xuanji Tu,” which can be read in different directions, including forwards, backwards, or even crosswise.
