It's been speculated for months about who the replacement for Dale Earnhardt Jr was going to be after NASCAR's most popular driver announced his retirement from the sport at the end of the 2017 season. Thursday afternoon that question was answered when Hendrick Motorsports announced that Alex Bowman will drive the No. 88 Chevrolet in the 2018 season. Bowman, who filled in for an ailing Dale Earnhardt Jr in 2018, has been sitting on the sidelines for the majority of the season. We'll discuss his expectations and whats next for the 88 team.
