Shannon has pencilled more issues of GI Joe than any other artist (with over 100 issues across several series) of GI Joe -, Starting in 2009 on GI Joe Rise Of Cobra movie Prequel, followed by 9 issues of Chuck Dixon’s GI Joe run before starting a long run on IDW’s ARAH with issue 161 In Dec 2010, , lasting to 245 in 2017 where he took a break to the GI Joe vs Six Million dollar man limited series. He has returned for an issue 263 in 2017 and is back for this issue, 283.
