Who's ready for a little friendly competition? In this AK Korner episode Lefty has a mixture of amateur and professional competition shooters on to talk about their experiences with shooting the AK-47 in competitions. Our special guest this episode is Brian Nelson. Brian is the creative mind behind the most anticipated AK-47/Com Block shooting competition in the Nation, Red Oktober. Brian is also a USPSA Grand Master in 4 divisions and winner of multiple Regional, National and World Championship practical shooting titles and awards. Also joining in on this episode are Kyle Moore, Jared Seagraves, Aaron Keener and Brian Keeney.

Red Oktober is a AK (AK-47, AK-74, AKM) shooting match and gun show festival blending 3-Gun style shooting with AK type rifles. The competitions are practical-style providing a fun opportunity to compete using the AK-pattern rifle in a style that is typically slanted towards more modern AR-style designs. Red Oktober is NOT intended to be a tactics and doctrine-based exercise, just a fun celebration of Mikhail Kalashnikov’s rifle.

The Tennessee Rangers provide specialized volunteer assistance to federal, state or local law enforcement agencies within the State of Tennessee, as well as support for community and civic organizations. The Tennessee are a Certified 501(c)(3) Non-Profit. Bryan and Lefty take care of some Jackwagons and honor some Heroes. Bryan has a new "Fact To Fight The Myth" and Lefty hits Bryan with the "New Guy" questions. Plus we find out that Bryan is the nephew of one of the most famous people in the world!! This is the AK Koncepts' class "After Action Report" episode. Following our 2 day AK-47 defensive rifle and armorer's course at Royal Range USA with 212° Training Group & Occam Defense Solutions we gathered the Instructors and a few of the Students to review everyone's experiences first hand.
