  • Clash of the Champions VI or Ric Flair Proves Pimpin' IS Easy!

Just left the time machine gas station, the T.O.W. time machine is topped off and ready to go to New Orleans on April 2, 1989.  Screw that Wrestlemania V nonsense going on, come watch a better show!  PS Hayes has gotten into Jimmy Garvin's cocaine stash!  Rick Steiner brings Alex along and even Missy Hyatt (Giggity!).  Of course, the main reason for this event, Part 2 of Ricky Steamboat and Ric Flair's trilogy of great matches.  This is a two out of three falls and it's amazing.  Always remember, sync up this podcast with the Clash of the Champions VI event via the WWE Network.  It's worth it and fun.  Enjoy!

  • Chi-Town Rumble 1989 or PS Hayes' Unintentional Racism

HELLO EVERYBODY!!  Our coordinates are set to Chicago.  February 20, 1989.  Come watch as Michael PS Hayes regals us with his unintentional racism.  (He's from the South). We've got Sting.  One Midnight Express needs to go, find out which one!  Unfortunately, we have to sit through another Lex Luger match, UGH.  However, it's against "Pure Evil" Barry Windham so it balances out.  We've got Chicago's own Road Warriors tearing it up.  Then...our main event.  The first in a trilogy of matches, Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat for the NWA Title.  It's a hell of a match!

Be sure to sync this podcast up to the Chi Town Rumble event on the WWE Network and have some fun!

  • Clash of the Champions V Or Ric Flair's A Legit Pimp Now

BOOM!  That's the sound that the T.O.W time machine just made as we enter April 2, 1989 for Clash of the Champions Part V.  The Glorious Mullet destroys masked Russians.  Butch Reed does his best Luke Cage impression.  Silent Bob AKA Kevin Sullivan pulls a fast one of Sting, PS Hayes and JYD.  Of course, the main attraction is Ric Flair apparently becoming a legit pimp and trying to hook up Ricky Steamboat and Bob Caudle with his harem of ladies.  I'm NOT kidding.  Sync this podcast up with the Clash of the Champions V on the WWE Network and see for yourself!

Look out!  The Time Machine is heading to the end of 1988 for the Starrcade event.  Dr. Death and Silent Bob take on The Chippendales!  There are too many Midnight Express's and one has GOT to go!  Rick Steiner is more over than Ric Flair!  Russians, Junkyard Dog's, "Pure Evil" Barry Windham, Bam Bam Bigelow, Sting, Dusty's Pits and, of course, Ric Flair in the main event, unfortunatlely, against "The Loogie" Lex Luger.  Be sure to sync this podcast up with the event on the WWE Network and have a good time!

  • Clash of the Champions III: Fall Brawl Or Ric Flair's Sedated

Can you hear that?  It's the Talking Over Wrestling time machine getting ready to head back to September 7, 1988 to check out the first annual Fall Brawl.  It's glorious.  Ric Flair is one of our hosts and it's obvious they sedated him before the show.  We get some excellent matches but the one I'm most excited about is the formation of Team Death Sausage (Nikita Koloff and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams.  I'm excited.  You should be too.  Be sure to sync this podcast up with the Clash of the Champions III event on the WWE Network for best results.  Enjoy.

  • Clash of the Champions II: Miami Mayhem or A Little Tongue Twisted Here

The time machine is firing up to go back to June 8, 1988 for Clash of the Champions Part II or We're Getting a Little Tongue Twisted There.  They head to Miami this time and the crowd is hot, literally and figuratively.  Our main event is Arn and Tully vs. Dusty and Sting for the Tag Titles.  A rare episode without Ric Flair wrestling but he is very much a part of the show.  We also get Dr. Death Steve Williams in a tuxedo and doing commentary for one match, which is worth the price of admission in spades.  Fire up your WWE Network, cue up Clash of the Champions II and then sync up with this wonderful podcast.  Rock on!

  • Clash of the Champions I: Crockett's Revenge or Go On With Your Bad Self, Dusty Rhodes

The gas tank of the T.O.W. Time Machine is topped off.  We're heading back to the first annual Clash of the Champions.  For all the dastardly deeds Vince McMahon perpetrated on the NWA/Jim Crockett Promotions, it's time they take a little revenge.  This originally aired on TBS head to head with Wrestlemania IV, which was on Pay Per View.  Crockett dealt a critical blow to Vince McMahon, things were starting to look up.  We've got another killer Dr. Death promo.  Koloff Sausage.  Arn, Tully, Windham, Luger, Garvin, Precious, Sullivan (The Creature).  Of course, Flair is our main event against Sting.  Great match.  Be sure to watch on the WWE Network.  Tons of great content at only 9.99.

About Talking Over Wrestling

From the publisher's feed

Think Mystery Science Theater 3000 meets a wrestling podcast that mainly features 1980's wrestling. Going to start with early NWA/WCW events, a lot of gold to mine there.
