Wayne Smithy, "Smithy" is a legend in NZ, not only in Rugby but in coaching. He was an All Black himself between 1980-1985 and went on to win titles with the Crusaders (as Head Coach) and the Chiefs (as assistant coach to Dave Rennie) as well as the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cups.
He now lives in Japan with his wife Trish and coaches the Kobelco Steelers, where his golden touch has continued.
