The regular season is back. This starts our regular schedule of Wednesday shows. 2 Shows a week now, one every Wednesday and one every Friday night as our Friday night Football Recap Show. Finally we are back! We start off with the Fall Sports Preview brought to you by CAO and the Southern Maryland Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Division. We cover 6 Fall Sports: Volleyball, Field Hockey, Golf, Cross Country, Boys Soccer and Girls Soccer. We break it all down: Top Teams, Playoff Regions, Games to Watch, and an interview with a head coach from each Sport to help us get ready for the start of the fall season. Our Season 1 Finale. We recap all the SMAC Spring State Champions including Chopticon Baseball, La Plata Baseball, and Westlake Track and Field. We have interviews with Chopticon Baseball winning pitcher from the state championship game Shane Smith, La Plata Baseball head coach Childers and players Chet Bowling and Robbie Shelton who had big games in their state championship game. We also speak with 3 members of the Westlake Track and Field team Ervin Mitchell, Christan Eldridge, and Raven Kennedy. We also highlight all the individual champions in track and field throughout the conference. Also Andy and I give our own 3 recommendations for SMAC moving forward, we take a look back on this past first season of the podcast which now has over 25,000 downloads, and look forward to what we have planned for next Fall season starting in August. 

In this weeks episode we recap the Spring Sports Playoffs through the State Semi-Finals. We have a great conversation with Brad Criss who is retiring after 31 years of working in athletics throughout the SMAC as an assistant coach, head coach, athletic director, and parent. An amazing conversation with him about his service to his schools and community over the past 31 years. And we speak with Coach Serpone, head tennis coach at McDonough about his 2 players heading to states and also bringing an end to the long running conversation about his infamous tennis match with Mast.
