Welcome to part two of the first episode of Jason Drury's interview show TALKING SOUNDTRACKS.
Jason continues his conversation with renowned orchestral composer of television, film, video game scores and concert works, BRUCE BROUGHTON, which took place via Zoom at his home in Los Angeles, California in April 2021. In part one they talked amongst other things including Broughton's way into television scoring, his first film projects and his work on SILVERADO, TOMBSTONE and YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES.
In part two they continue the conversation by talking about Broughton’s music for animation, his relationship with recording engineer Armin Steiner, his orchestral score to the video game HEART OF DARKNESS and his thoughts on the state of film music today.
As per part one, you will be hearing more samples of music from one of finest composers ever to work on film and television.
