Evolution is no joking matter. In fact there are schools that refuse to teach the subject of evolution and prefer to focus their student studies on creation. Debunking the latter swings both ways but what does it matter for use common folk who can cares less of whom or how we were created but really just want to concentrate on taking advantage of the life we have in the short time we are given. We're all going to die right? Biologically it's a definite. Spiritually we're just kinda waiting.
A Movie ReactionChris watched Krampus, a movie he's been anticipating for months now and he really enjoyed its whimsical Christmas horror thrills. Think Gremlins and how much fun it was to be terrified on this holiday of gift giving to the nice while the bad receives just as many goodies. Instead of scaring children with idol threats, Krampus will whoop dat ass and leave you nothing under the tree. Now that's what a call Holiday Redemption.
In This Episode:A Brave Offense
Woman was offended by the nudity in the movie Brave. Look closely at the poster and it actually reads brief nudity. Actually you should always read the ratings of posters because they are rather hilarious.
The Origins of this Episode
Chris had a theory that "The Good Dinosaur" would be the precursor to "The Flintstones." That is until he saw the movie and debunked his own concept.
The Good Dinosaur
Porn Parodies
Put some money behind the production of one of these films and maybe JJ will indulge in viewing his favorite super hero making whoopee.
Who's That Girl?
Powergirl is a Kryptonian who resides on Earth 2 within the DC world of comics. If you look at her, you might find it difficult to believe that she can even fly at all.
Closing TimeWere flew in rather low and landed on high note. Ultimately this was a good episode but towards the end we realized that this makes two consecutive episode where we discuss a kids movie. Next we vow to go back to some adult content for contents sake and for the sake of our humanity.

Most of us fans of the Peanuts comic strip and CBS animated movies believed The Peanuts Movie would be a horrible big screen adaptation. How could they ruin something so pure? The fear that the 'big machine" would take something some simple and untainted by box office scores and critical maleficium presented the uncertainty and fear that Charlie Brown would again, miss the football. But, wait. Lucy did pull the ball away this time. No, she held it in place and ol' Chuck Brown punted his way into another storytelling medium.
So how did the Peanuts movie hit the mark?
Very simple. The Peanuts Movie stayed true to it's muse. Not only did the adaptation of The Peanuts capture the sensibility of the comic strip, it will also serve as a great compliment to the many animated movies. Quite often it is difficult to transformed something simple into something that requires many hands and more money than the creator Charles Shultz ever earned from the many years and over 18,000 strips he drew single handily, but somehow they got it right. From the jumpy animation to the exact details of Charlie Brown's hair, The Peanuts Movie, deserves a place in the upper echelon of successful page to screen adaptations.
In This Peanuts Episode:Give That Kid A Zanax
If Charlie Brown were Chuck Brown of 2015, he most likely would be place on some sort of drug for depression. Sad but we know it's true. Studies prove that too many children these days are prescribed drugs to help them cope with feelings kids back in the 1930's had no means treat. Charles Shultz himself suffered from some type of psychological disengagement from the world around him.
Kids and Sexual Behavior
How old were The Peanuts kids? They dealt with a lot of heavy being only adolescence. Linus was a shrink to Charlie and kids could consult with Lucy for only a nickel. Maybe we should stop fooling ourselves; kids aren't innocent and question life and their bodies. We as parents just don't need to know unless it becomes more that just adolescence curiosity.
Megan Trainor
Dancing equals movement and Megan Trainor should just stop all together. Did anyone else think that the use of modern music was, say, out of place in film?
The Dance
Zombie kid rocks, PigPen is a time traveler from the 1930's and Franklin's fade.
The Regular Kid
The evolution of Franklin, the first Black Peanuts character, is quite endearing.
Snoopy and The Red Baron
Another hit the mark moment. I loved Snoopy and The Red Baron tales and the movie really captured the great iconic moments of that battle between the plane and the doghouse.
Kristin Chenoweth as Fifi
After watching the credits, it was discover that Kristin Chenoweth played Fifi, Snoopy's mute love interest. Why?
Comic Strips
Which comic strips do you read or have you read and which are your favorite? Comment below.
Bacon and Hobbes
Calvin and Hobbes will never make it to the big screen and that is great! However, what other comic strip could Hollywood possibly adapt into a successful film?
Evil Robo Productions
JJ attempted to draw comics once with this guy Eric Shock who is still great at what he does.

Host and friend Adam "Po" Snyder who is leaving the podcast to join the ARMY. Now I would be hard-pressed and dishonest to not mention that I wasn't in full agreement with his decision to uproot and go. Truthfully, it bothered be a good deal but after some careful consideration I realized that my disappointment did not extend completely from his decision but from my own selfishness to keep him around. I really thought that maybe he's doing this because of the podcast and how we just haven't hit it big yet. In my defense, I believed the podcast would keep him optimistic about the future and keep him around long enough to create some cool shit. That's what I believed.

Gassed Out
Fine a piss rag and use it as a mask inside the gas chamber. The did it in WWII, so what's the big deal? Basic is kinda like that... right?
And no, Jerry can't film Adam and the gas chamber but it never hurts to ask.
The Wall
Just put your life in to the Lord's hands and think pillow, it's all just a pillow.
Farewell, sir
Many things go bump in the night but what if that thing did not just bump but hold and pin you down so that you can't move or breath? Completely cognitive to your state of being, however, there is nothing you can do. You scream and no one hears. You're brain tells your arms to move but they remain immobile. This is what sufferers of dream paralysis experience when they lay down for bed, the fear of sleep. Dreams so lucid they are real. Dreams so real they leave very little hope for an optimistic reality.
Ever have that dream you wish you could retell but can't remember? The good ones [dreams] are those that seem more real. We interact and sometimes can actual feel the dream experience. It's great but within only minutes of wakefulness those moments are forgotten, swept away by the brain replugging your consciousness into the reality of the now. Time to go to school, work, or commence video gameplay. Life goes on but what if life can go on whilst you dream?
Lucid dreaming is akin to the recommendation that we all should keep a notebook and pen on a bedside table. The awareness that you are alive within a dream state has been described as awesome and in the same breath truly terrifying. Depends on the dream. They can happen naturally or induced by certain drugs. If you ever read anything by anyone whose taken LSD, well it's like that. To be aware within a dream and truly live the dream sounds great, but wait… you still have to wake up and smell the roses.

I Am Legend, published in 1964 by Robert Matheson, is a book that has been adapted into a movie three different times. We dissect each adaption into the bits of the good, the bad, and the imperfect of retelling an awesome tale cinematically.
Breanna @bloodyhorrorbri joins Jerry, Chris, and Josh for this episode record in July 2014.
I Am Legend by Richard Matheson
I Am Legend was a great exploration into the mind of a man trapped within the solidarity of time. After an event transforms the world population into vampiric beings, Robert Neville is seemingly the last man on earth. His only company comes from the haunted calls of an annoying neighbor and flirtatious taunts by naked woman whose sole purpose is to remind Robert that he is indeed still human.

Zombies Evolve - Should something considered "dead" be capable of learning how to shoot a gun?
Spectators sports such as U.S. football liken to the obsession Romans had for the gladiator but how does can fuzzball players today compare to gladiators of an ancient time?
