This episode covers a topic that has been widely discussed recently. What mainly inspired this conversation was the incident that occurred with Hip Hop Rappers, Meg The Stallion and Tory Lanez. We live in a society that holds a lot of implicit bias towards BIPOC. This implicit bias impacts almost every aspect of our daily lives. We live in a society where black women feel muted. My lovely guest and I express our frustrations, share some alarming facts about black women in health care, and the racism that is still present in the healthcare system. We also dive into ways that people can support black women more so that we do not feel muted in a society that has not done much to protect us. Let’s continue this conversation on instagram. Message me on instagram with your thoughts about this topic. I’d love to hear from you! Please find the links below where you can keep up with Multidiscipliary, Sandra Normil.
