We talked about his experience meeting up with the boys and their Father, Kris, the trip up to Edinburgh, how the UK differs to the US and how come he's never heard of marzipan. And of course, that drunken Podcast we recorded! All this an more so go grab yourself a cold one, kick back and enjoy! • #TBR115 It's Happy Hour at Tall Boy Radio
We were delighted to be joined by Mike, Tabby and Caleb from the Happy Hour Podcast out of Louisville, Kentucky. We've guested on their podcast and Tabby appeared on the episode that we did with the Designated Quizzers. Our good pal Bill had an idea for an episode where we talk about the dumb stuff that we've done and ended up doing ourselves a mischief... and we thought why not involve our pals from across the pond and get them to join in on the fun. Listener discretion warning : If you don't like hearing about knees getting mangled, this episode may not be for you. We couldn't get them on and not talk about their Guinness World Record attempt for the longest podcast and we were absolutely honoured to be asked to join them on the opening slot of their attempt. These are great guys and we hope you enjoy this episode and if you haven't already, go and check out their podcast! Go grab yourself a cold Twisted Tea, kick back and enjoy! The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. • #TBR114 Current affHAIRS
We were joined by Dave and we welcomed Gaz back on to the podcast and he had a lot of things on his mind.... Was Will Smith or Chris Rock the villain at their Oscars debacle? We've all seen Gareth Bale's comments about the media, just how accountable are they? The sad and untimely passing of Taylor Hawkins. Should their be an age cap on heads of state and monarchs? ...and then there's female swimming and right out of the bat, there's an apology for a crass joke about the situation from a dude who told everyone to be kind at the start of the episode. All this and much much more so go grab yourself a cold one, kick back and enjoy. The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. All this and much much more so go grab yourself a cold one, kick back and enjoy! The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. • #TBR112 Well, well, well, what do we have BEER then?
There's no Gaz this week as we're joined by John Nicol aka the Geordie Beed Guy. If you've seen any beer reviews online then you've no doubt seen some of his stuff. John loves his craft beer and loves trying new and different beers. We talk all things beer with him and it's starting to look like we're in the minority when it comes to our arch-nemesis The Duchess. Go grab yourself a cold one, kick back and enjoy! The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. This episode is also available on YouTube https://youtu.be/r7UsLoIKhzg tallboyradio.com

  • #TBR110 Drunken ramblings part 3
This episode of Tall Boy Radio has literally been 10 years in the making. From when Beans first reached out to Beau to say that he believed they were related to this point where Beau sat down in TBR HQ to record the 1st ever livestreamed episode. There is a crazy amount of ground covered and beer and Whisky consumed and the odd revelation too - turns out Boilermakers are actually quite pleasant. Go grab yourself a cold one, kick back and enjoy. The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. • #TBR109 And on the 8th day God created TBR
Yeah we were struggling for a title for this one. The topics were all over the place so we went for something that wasn't too much to do with the actual episode. There was no Gaz again as he's struggling with his bionic clavicle instead we were joined by Dave to ask some taxing question. We started off with the 3Rs and how important they are or aren't to us. We moved on to talk about the device that you're probably reading this synopsis on - your mobile (cell) phone. How attached are we? Could we give it up? How attached are we to social media? Yes we need it to promote the podcast etcetera... or do we? Where did you find out about this podcast, we'd love to know. Did you find us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or through your podcast listening platform of choice? Is Social Media a good thing? Then we talked about the 2 ends of your life : Your childhood. Would you rather your child had your childhood or do we wish we had theirs... and then onto growing old. We all had similar thoughts on this one and probably all different to the thoughts we had on it in our 20s. What could we top off a serious episode like this? Cartoons of course. What were your favourite cartoons growing up. Go grab yourself a cold one and joining us on this meandering ride. The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. tallboyracdio.com

  • #TBR108 Superbowl, Valentine's and a broken clavicle
Gaz is back.... briefly. He stops by for 20 minutes to let us know that he's OK. Beans and Andy are joined by guest host Dave who'll be with us for the next 2 weeks. Whilst Gaz is with us we talk about the Superbowl and it's iconic halftime show before sharing a few funny Valentine's day stories... and let's not forget stories of 2 broken clavicles!! We move on to the West Ham player Kurt Zouma - and although we make light of a massive flaw in British law, no one finds animal cruelty acceptable, we're just using humour to point a massive irony! There's a little talk on Joe Rogan and England "opening back up". Yeah, this one was all over the place. Go grab a cold one, kick back and try not to break your collarbone! The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. This episode is also available on YouTube https://youtu.be/iCC4w8VTZ7M tallboyradio.com

We're joined by Lisa from the Designated Quizzers Podcast and Tabby from the Happy Hour Podcast to take us on in a 20 question quiz shoot-out. The questions aren't about beer but they are bloody hard. They're fall off your chair hard! Stay tuned to the end for a beaut of an outtake. The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. This episode is also available on YouTube https://youtu.be/gCpPcEIBe7E tallboyradio.com
