  • #TBR106 Tiddy and Shiner takeover
There's no Gaz (Shoulder) or Andy (Hound) tonight but we're back in Tulsa, Oklahoma to chat to Tiddy and Shiner from The Outcasts media group. This episode is very much like an episode of the Tiddy and Shiner show - left-turns-a-plenty. There's plenty of Politics talk, US and UK, plenty of talks about pneumonia, head colds, influenza and.... what's the other on? There's a pinch of NFL talk as we're all rooting for the same team in the Superbowl. We can't visit Oklahoma without talking a little Joe Exotic - it is the year of the Tiger after all... and there's a funny Johnny Simo story too! The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. This episode is also available on YouTube https://youtu.be/aLG2emDOkVw tallboyradio.com

  • #TBR105 Mind over matter
There's no Gaz this week as he's had a fall and broken his collarbone. Andy and I were joined by James Pesch, a life coach from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He talks about Neuro Linguistic programming, gives Beans a way of helping stay on his vegetarian path, talks a little about stoicism, drops a whole lot of science on us and explains a little of how our minds work. There's even a little bit of magic thrown in for good fun. You don't want to miss this one. Go grab yourself a cold one (or your favourite Irish Whiskey), kick back and enjoy! The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. This episode is also available on YouTube https://youtu.be/aeed7CXDZAA tallboyradio.com

  • #TBR104 Tall Boy and the Megaman
There's no Andy tonight as he has some family commitments but we are joined all the way from California by the hardest working man in PodcastLand - Megaman aka Stephen Martinez from the Megaman podcast. We took more left turns than a Nascar winner. We started on craft beer before talking about podcasts and what it means to us and why it's such a passion in our lives. We talk abou why we never talk about Covid and politics before talking about Covid and politics. Gaz shares his very unique view on Novak Djockovic before we move on to "Soccer" and the differences between the Premier league and US sports and there's a little pinch of paranormal talk at the end. Go grab yourself a cold one and enjoy! The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. tallboyradio.com

  • #TBR103 Men have Lupus
Lupus. What do you know about it? We barely knew anything and when we looked in to it we were surprised by it's severity. We were joined by Lou of menhavelupus.org to talk candidly about how the illness has affected him. He realised early on that the support isn't there. Rather than retreating- he went out there and set up a help group to help men get the answers and the help they need. We were humbled by his sense of purpose. He talks frankly about misdiagnosis, the stigmas around Lupus and what he is doing to give Men (who are often not diagnosed sometimes through pride) the help they need. If you think you are affected, click on the link above - likewise if you want to help or donate: do it TODAY!! Go grab yourself a cold one, listen and learn! The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. This episode is also available on YouTube https://youtu.be/Dl6xqLlT4h8 tallboyradio.com

  • #TBR102 What's new in '22?
We're buying into that New Year, New me BS. We talk about New Year's revolutions and for one reason or another, we've all decided to make some this year (of sorts). Obviously we get distracted along the way and take left turns towards Eddie 'The Beast' Hall's diet, Boilermakers, what would you call a boilermaker if it were made with gin, Black and Tans (they really are Irish) and much more nonsense besides. The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. This episode is also available on YouTube https://youtu.be/_MLuhSYto7A tallboyradio.com

  • #TBR101 Room 101
We turn an Orwellian nightmare into a bit of fun. Beans, Gaz and Andy each pick 2 things to be disposed of. What does Gaz hate most about football? What cornerstone of society gets Andy fired up? Which part of the ecosystem does Beans have beef with? What else will trigger their anger? In this episode Beans and Gaz disagree over the phrase "living to work". Gaz was actually referring to the rising cost of living meaning people needed to work more to make ends meet, whereas Beans was talking about the phrase in it's literal definition those crazy folks who see work as their purpose for being.... we were talking cross purposes and just wanted to clarify our points. That being said, go grab yourself a cold one, kick back and enjoy. The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. • #TBR98 The Boston beer party : No beer left undrunk
We are honoured to be joined by our new friends from across the pond, Ryan and Brad of the Pubtime Podcast (Go check them out if you haven't already). We go 5 for 5 with them listing our favourite beers before exploring the world of sports. We look at how NFLUK games differ from games played stateside, Rugby, Cricket and a little bit of "soccer". We hear about how they started their podcast and what it means to them, which is very similar to us as it turns out. These guys will be making an appearance again in the New Year because we barely scratched the surface. Go grab yourself a black and tan, kick back and enjoy. The opening music is "London Bayou" by Oscar Albis Rodriguez and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford. This episode is also available on YouTube https://youtu.be/tCZ59qu5tOk Tallboyradio.com

This one's all over the show. We look at series 2 of the Tiger King and ask the question : why aren't sequels better than the originals? There's our usual NFL round-up. There's shout outs to some of our favourite companies Dixxon flannel, Double Trouble Drinks and the Belgian beer company. Find out what Andy is happy to spend on just 2 bottles of beer. What do we think about Cryptozoology. Go grab yourself a cold one, kick back and enjoy! The opening music is "London Bayou" and the closing music is "BDS" by Lewis Pickford.
