Nicholas buries the hatchet with a current neighbor after a 10 month feud that started over dog poop. Addison displays his ability to dial 9-1-1 after a neighbor’s mini bike crash happens while waiting for pizza to be delivered. The guys reflect on a stray cat that was bound and determined to live with them, Sumo salesman, dirty neighborhood kids, Shark Tank and the tenuous history of Nick’s two haircuts. Hip hop artist Brandon Austin stops by and reflects on touring with Nicholas, the progression of his life ahead of his wedding, his new found optimism, and gives a very deep and honest account of his last few years. Afterwards, Nicholas attempts to bring peace and reconnect Brandon with a mutual friend they both toured with after a four year falling out. On this episode of “Tall, Dark and Random” we examine those glorious days of “back to school” hoopla!! Nicholas reads a short story introduction entitled “Nick to the Future”. Nicholas shares an incredibly angry rant to illustrate the effects of his anxiety and ways you can distinguish potential anxiety symptoms from your child’s ”back to school” jitters. Addison and Nicholas talk about back to school days, ditching class, JNCO’s, trapper keepers, lunch detention and Addison details his greatest attempts to miss school at any cost. Guest Misha Hernandez joins the program to open up about her life and bouts with anxiety/depression, the importance of showing love to your friends in need and Nicholas teaches her the difference between “stigma” and “astigmatism”. Addison talks about his run in with an Uncle Fester lookalike and it leads us down a rabbit hole of subjects such as Spotify streaming, street gangs, middle school gym class and why NASCAR has always- and will always suck. In the debut episode of “Tall, Dark and Random” we introduce the show and it’s premise. Nicholas elaborates on the night he chose to quit working in the hotel industry after a late night encounter with a drunken bigot upset about his hotel suite caused him to walk out. Addison Morgan joins the show and we discuss our personal growth over 15 years, Nick’s book, misdeeds of the past, our expectations for the show and the reason Nicholas was almost reported to the authorities by a popular online auction site earlier in the week.
