NOTE: This is a rewrite of book 1. Originally, 'Of Monsters and Mushrooms' was supposed to be a multi-part short story that transformed halfway through into a novel. This left the plot (and the voice acting, to be honest) lacking.  The Samophlange was a quest in early World of Warcraft located in Bilgewater Harbor. I took that quest, including all the dialogue, and turned it into an embellished short story. As far as I know the quest no longer exists, so this is my way of keeping it alive!
