Tapestry

On this episode, I sit down and chat with Trevor Roberts, main guitarist and songwriter of the Redding, California-based progressive metalcore band The Anima Effect. Trevor talked to me at length about the struggles in his life that have inspired his songwriting, his relationship with his luthier, and the state of djent/metalcore.

Hello, and welcome to the first (technically a precursor) episode of this podcast! Tapestry is a podcast where I, your host Kelly, discuss music and how it weaves its thread through the lives of family, friends, and folks in the industry. I hope to interview guests and learn about what music means to them.

This introduction episode has no guest and is just me explaining a bit about my musical background and what inspired me to make this show.

Feel free to follow on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/tapestrymusicpodcast/
