President Donald Trump is planning to go through imposing tariffs on Canada and Mexico on Tuesday, saying the tariffs are needed to combat the continued flow of illicit drugs into the United States. The San Diego City Council will meet tomorrow to consider raising water and sewer rates. Starting today, expect intermittent closures of the onramp to the eastbound 8 freeway from Sports Arena Boulevard to install a flashing beacon system for the pedestrian crosswalk.
