We interrupt The Summer of 2015 at 10 for a moment to resume the Tarkovsky’s Tales retrospective. Steven Warren Hill and I this time are talking about the science fiction masterpiece SOLARIS from 1972. A film that is probably most people’s introduction to Andrei Tarkovsky. In prep for this I’ve read the book for the first time and revisited the Steven Soderbergh version from the early 2000s. Another wonderful estudious film discussion in this lovely series that I hope you are enjoying.

Steven Warren Hill once again joins me for this discussion. When this retrospective picks up again in JULY we’ll be looking at Mirror from 1975.
