Here's the episode of the Tech Talks series that I've been most excited for! If anyone ever sells you the dream that business is all rainbows and sunshine then you can go ahead and send them this podcast episode 💀
Take it from me, it's not been easy AT ALL. Once we launched, things went a lil'... downhill. I'm spilling the tea on all the problems we had, how we handled them, and why Miss Azura is so much stronger for them!
I'm getting real and raw about:
Burning down one business and starting a new one - it's certainly not the easiest thing in the world, and so this episode of the Tech Talks series is breaking down the pivot. I'm going into all the shifts I've had to make, how I've redefined what success looks like and how I've handled my mentorship business' income being down by over 50% (yep, you read that right!).
In this episode, I'm sharing with you:
Have a look at the post I shared about my income being down by over 50%

I have a sneaky little suspicion that this episode will be the most listened to of the series 🤭 Yes, it's the one you all wanted - the details behind Azura's launch and how I managed to make it such a success. This was such a fun episode for me to record as a psych girlie and strategist at my core because I leveraged so many of the sales psychology tactics that you've heard me talk about before. And guess what? They actually work (ofc) so I just know you'll want to hear all about them.
I'm going to share with you:

We’ve discussed it before on the podcast - so many people think that sales are down, but what I think is really happening is that what you’re selling just isn’t quite right. If your offer is too overwhelming, too wishy-washy and open-ended or just not what people are looking for, they aren’t going to buy! That’s why it’s so important to refine your modules, define an actionable result for your client and stop packing your programs and courses with damn Q&A calls - I said it. 🫢 I love bringing experts onto the podcast who are going to spill the tea and give you takeaways you never knew you needed, and today’s expert is a curriculum specialist, who uses her past expertise to help you design a program that is literally going to have your audience screaming “I need this!”.
Today we have the wonderful Vix Meldrew on the podcast! Vix is an ex-primary school teacher, turned online educator and coach for coaches and experts. In 2018, Vix left teaching to be a full-time content creator with her successful blog and Instagram which saw her featured in news, radio and documentaries - even listed in MTV’s Influencers to Watch. She partnered with brands such as Microsoft, Squarespace, Pinterest and more. In 2019, she launched her membership, Grow & Glow, gaining over 100 founding members in under an hour. During the pandemic, the membership helped over 1200 small business owners take charge of their social media and gain new clients and customers. Since pivoting her business in 2022 and sharing her experience of teaching over 7000 students online (and her 6 years in the classroom), Vix has worked with over 300 course creators and coaches to design and launch their programs.
So, let’s get ready to ditch those Q&As for good, stop hand-holding your clients and receive alllll the testimonials that are actually worth sharing.
In this episode, we’re chatting about:
Episode Breakdown
[01:13] Vix’s backstory and journey from teacher to curriculum expert
[04:53] Stop making the destination harder to get to
[13:19] Defining a measurable result of your program
[21:33] You want your curriculum to replace you

You know me, I love to spill the tea… and today’s episode is absolutely packed full of it! From disappointments in the coaching industry, to treating your clients as if they aren’t even human beings, this episode truly covers it all! Discussing all of these juicy insights with me is one of my clients, Ashley McDonald, who I specially invited on the podcast as with her background, amazing story and 100% integrity-led business and principles, I knew she’d be a perfect fit to help me chat about tearing down the industry and rebuilding it in the way that we all know it needs to be.
My guest, Ash, is a Therapeutic Business Coach and 3 time founder with 10+ years of entrepreneurial experience & 2 Masters degrees. Through a psychology-backed, strategic approach she helps women build sustainable, energy-protecting businesses that are ethical, individualized, and profitable. Everything she does is filtered through a human-first lens and considers the emotional wellness of both the CEO and the consumer. She's a therapist, but for your business...because when you’re ready to build something unshakeable, it starts with the roots.

Sharing money wins - you either love them or hate them! Some people find them super tacky and icky, but I find when they’re shared with integrity, passion and strategy, it helps to build your credibility and authority, attracts the driver buyer and helps to redefine others’ money mindsets. In today’s episode, I’m going DEEP into why sharing money wins in your business is a hill I will die on - as long as it’s done in an ethical way! To help you do this, I’m sharing my favorite technique (which can also be used to break up with your boo, if you’re ready for that 🫠) and giving you all the inspo as to why this should become an integral part of your business and something you love sharing with your audience, not something that grosses you out.
In this episode, I’m spilling the tea on:
Episode Breakdown
[00:50] Is it icky to share money wins?
[02:04] Driver buyer psychology
[03:45] Building credibility and authority by sharing your monetary wins
[05:18] Overcoming the resistance

If you’re currently going through a situation with an unhappy client, the first thing you should know is that you’re not alone! Literally every business owner has experienced it at some point (and if they haven’t yet, they will!). It’s honestly just part of doing business, girly pop. However, that doesn’t mean we have permission to handle the situation badly! Through my mentoring and my own business experiences, I’ve picked up my top five favorite tips (and some goodies for you 👀) that I’m going to be sharing in this episode, so you can step away from that heart shattering feeling of having an unhappy client and pivot into handling the conflict with grace, swiftness and leadership.
Ultimately, my hope is that this episode helps you not only to feel better about the situation, but to navigate it better AND prep yourself for any future client conflicts that might come up. Another idea is that you can flip the narrative and view it as a blessing that has prompted you to audit your business and see how you can do better! We’re all about that growth mindset 🌱

Hands down, one of the EASIEST ways to get high-ticket sales from your absolute ride or die leads is to personally invite them into your programs. But gurla, if that sentence freaks you the fuck out, I got you. We’re not about the super formal requests here, and we’re certainly not about mass cold messaging everyone on your dream client list. I’ve crafted the perfect way to invite in your expressive buyers so that they cry literal tears (I share an example of this!) when you extend that olive branch to them. It can be so much more than just “asking for money” - it can be impactful, moving, special, exclusive, heart-warming or relationship building. If you’re ready to jump on this technique, tune into today’s episode!
In this episode, I’m spilling the tea on:

[01:22] If you’re struggling here, stay till the end!
[03:32] The biggest block that comes up for people
