In April 1961, Eagle River, Wisconsin chicken farmer and plumber Joe Simonton reported that a flying saucer landed just outside of his rural home and, after a seamless hatch on the craft opened, an extraterrestrial emerged holding a strange jug and beckoned the stunned Simonton to fetch him some water. Simonton obliged the alien creature and was rewarded with four pancakes that were freshly cooked by another alien being inside the craft. A flabbergasted Simonton, upon receiving the extraterrestrial food, stood in awe as the craft rose silently into the sky and zipped off in a span of two seconds.
