TBA Legislative Updates

The Tennessee General Assembly has adjourned for the year. TBA Executive Director Joycelyn Stevenson hosts today's special episode of Legislative Updates to interview Brad and Berkley about the behind-the-scenes work done on behalf of the TBA and its members.

Brad and Berkley are back this week with news on SB868/HB1130 that would create a statewide chancery court and the status of efforts to eliminate the professional privilege tax. Also, hear about the TBA's successful efforts to help kill SB282/HB1386 that would have capped attorneys' fees in lawsuits brought by county officials and efforts to help pass HB1190/SB881 concerning a conveyance to a Trust.
