Mike Gillis was a phenomenal junior hockey player who saw his career plagued by injuries. He was drafted 5th overall in the 1978 NHL Draft and had a 5 year career. Following his playing days, he earned a law degree and began a career as an executive and served as the General Manager of the Vancouver Canucks. Mike is presently a consultant with the NHL Players Association.
