ERIN’S TEA SHOW NOTES
December 8th is Sweet Dreams.
It is a herbal infusion, temperature 98 degrees, steep for 4-7 minutes.
Herbal Infusions are derived from: Hibiscus, Dried fruit and rosehips.
Smells like Chamomile and Lemon.
It is caffeine free. You can actually eat Herbal infusions.
WHO: says that 80% of the worlds population still derives its medicine from plants and roots steeped in boiling water (which is where Tisane’s originated from)
Make sure you have really hot water to get the most out of your infusion.
This infusion has: Chamomile, lemongrass, lemon, fennel seeds, orange and rose petals.
Chamomile is made from a flowering daisy that has grassy flavours and a sweet honey undertone. It’s known for it’s sedative effect.
Ruling: Tastes like Chamomile with lemon, I have a tin of this, it’s ok, but not something that I’d order more of–Unless you LOVE Chamomile.
