ERIN’S TEA SHOW NOTES

December 5th  is Countess of Seville.

It is a green tea, temperature 82 degrees, steep for 3-4 minutes.

Smells like Earl Grey Tea, but doesn’t taste that way, tastes Orange like.

It is mildly stimulant.

Be sure you are using correct steeping time and temperature.

Should be drank without milk/sugar.

Has the Antixoident EGCG—the “fat buster” .

Ruling:  Much better when you try it and brew it like you are supposed to! Light and Orange like.

December 4th  is Chocolate Rocket.

It is a Mate “tea”, temperature 94 degrees, steep for 4-5 minutes.

Mate is blanched, not wilted like regular tea.

It is then aged in cedar/Cement Chambers for up to 12 months!

It is highly stimulant, use this instead of coffee WITHOUT the jitters

It never bitters or grows old.

Can be drank with milk and/or sugar.  Though it’s light enough not to need it.

Is a stimulant, and is used in gaining focus in every day life,  and it increases energy.

Ruling: surprisingly yummy! very smoky, sweet and light, would drink this in the am or after a meal.

December 3rd is Creme de Menthe.

It is a Pu-erh tea, temperature 98 degrees, steep for 4-6 minutes.

Pu-erh is not oxidized like regular tea, and is fermented for up to 60 days!

It has 32% MORE antioxidants than green tea.

Can be drank with milk and/or sugar.

Is a stimulant, and is used in weight management, digestion, and it increases energy.

Ruling: YUCK!. If you LOVE cinnamon than this is for you, it was very strong and not for me.

December 2nd  is Green and Fruity.

It is a rooibos tea, temperature 98 degrees, steep for 4-7 minutes–you can steep this one closer to 7 minutes if you prefer.

Rooibos is officially a Tisane, as it doesn’t come from the Cameilla Sinensis Plant that Black, White, Green and Oolong teas do.

Should be drunk without milk/sweetener but it’s your preference.

Is naturally caffeine free, has amazing health benefits: Reduction in headaches, irritability, and insomnia .

Ruling: Yummy. Would go very well at the beginning of your day with a healthy breakfast or at the end of hard day to reduce stress.

It is a black tea, temperature 98 degrees, steep for 4-7 minutes

Can be drunk with milk and sugar if preferred.

Has caffeine, tastes like black tea with peppermint.

Ruling: Delicious

Jade Oolong tea before:

Approx 4 tsp Dry

Steeped Oolong tea (same amount as shown above.
