On the 9th October 1986, two nine-year old girls went missing from the Brighton estate where they lived while out playing. Dubbed the Babes in the Wood case, it would take the families of Nicola Fellows and Karen Hadaway 32 years to finally get justice.

This week Kaz tells us all about that time that the common folk of the UK executed Oliver Cromwell.

At approximately 10pm on the 6th July 1988, an explosion ripped through an oil-rig in the North sea. That night, 167 men lost their lives in what would become the worst off-shore oil disaster in history. This is the story of the Piper Alpha disaster.

At 3pm on the 16th June 1883, approximately 2,000 children attended a variety show at the Victoria Hall in Sunderland. What was meant to be a fun filled afternoon with magic tricks and prizes quickly turned into a nightmare and ended with 183 children dying.

We conclude this two-part story by discussing the murders of John Christie including Beryl and Geraldine Evans. He was eventually caught and tried in the same court as Timothy Evans who Christie had framed several years before. We are coming at you with another 2 part episode looking into the story of Timothy Evans, a Welshman who was hanged for the murder of his wife and daughter, Beryl and Geraldine Evans. It seems like a pretty straightforward albeit tragic case however, on the 24th March 1954, the bodies of three women were discovered in an alcove at 10 Rillington Place in London. Soon, the police uncovered the real killer of Beryl and her daughter wasn't Timothy Evans but in fact, John "Reg" Christie.
