Most teachers undercharge for private music lessons. Most teachers think that you have to charge what teachers in the area charge or a rate that is competitive to guarantee students. As an online teacher you can set the rules. You are now an in-demand world-wide teacher and because of this you can charge a premium rate! You work for yourself right? Why not charge what you’re worth!
Trying to figure out that dollar amount to raise your rates or when to do so is challenging. There is no black and white answer. To make this a little easier I’ve created a very simple strategy to help you calculate the exact dollar amount you should charge for monthly tuition. I can’t wait to teach you how to do this so that you can quickly raise your rates and charge what you’re worth!
