Most of what we say concerning the scriptures is jargon — not a sound argument. Jargon is emotional. An argument is factual. Evangelism is an argument. A Sermon is an argument. Your bible study is an argument. How do you prove your point? What thought process are you bringing to the word of God before you start to believe in someone else’s thought process as the truth? ALL of us should be apt to teach. Not based on our experiences and emotions but out of a time-tested diligent pursuit of the word.
