Martin Jones took on his former squad from San Jose and for 45 minutes looked like the Sharks couldn't solve. Then Tomas Hertl stepped up and took over. His natural hat trick led San Jose's comeback victory 3-2 over the Philadelphia Flyers. Brent Burns and Timo Meier had a multi assist game.

The Detroit Red Wings took down the San Jose Sharks 6-2 on Tuesday. Tyler Bertuzzi and Pius Suter had a pair of goals, also both scored shorthanded, ending the Wings 100 game streak without scoring a shorthanded goal, the longest in the NHL since 1948. Team Teal finishes up their homestand with an 3-2 overtime victory against the Philadelphia Flyers. Tomas Hertl had the game winner, while Logan Couture had a shorthanded goal, with Jake Middleton had a pair of assists. All this despite Flyers goaltender Felix Sandstrom making his NHL debut with 43 saves and giving the Sharks fits on putting the puck in the net.

In one of the wildest regular season games on the NHL season, the Arizona Coyotes wouldn't let the San Jose Sharks escape with an easy victory. Team Teal did prevail in the shootout, 8-7. All Sharks forwards had at least one point, and only Mario Ferraro, Brent Burns, Jake Middleton and James Reimer didn't register a point on this night.
