Thursday night's Sharks vs. Canucks matchup was like a roller coaster. Vancouver dominated the first period, outshooting San Jose 15-4, and had a two goal lead. Then the Sharks bounced back to tie it early third period, only to have the Canucks snatch the lead late. However, Alexander Barabanov's buzzer beater forced overtime, where Vancouver's JT Miller got the game winning goal. Erik and Ian break down the OT loss.

The Sharks comeback after the 2 week break on a flat note dropping their Valentine’s Day tilt with the Oilers 3-0. Despite giving up two quick goals in the first ten minutes of the game, James Reimer would put up a solid .923 save performance this evening. With the Power Play woes continuing to linger, and bipolar 5v5 offense it’s no wonder why they continue to be on the outside of the playoff picture. Landi and Ian try to make sense of it, or at the very least provide a much needed therapy session.

The Sharks lose a heartbreaker in overtime. Timo would be tripped up in the extra frame but be called for emblisment nullifying a Power Play opportunity. The Lightning would end up scoring on the ensuing rush ruining the excellent night of James Reimer. Rudy Balcers and the Captain would score and the Sharks would go 1/3 on the PP with Tampa going 1/4 on their PP. Reimer stepped up this road trip and was the only reason the Sharks take .500 record from the trip into the break.

Andrei Svechnikov's tally gave the Hurricanes a 2-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks.
