We follow the Gaang through a Secret Tunnel and Sokka goes slowly crazy while we see Katara and Aang being awkward kids. Zuko also starts learning some hard lessons in this episode.

Aang tries to learn to control the Avatar State, and Zuko almost becomes a prisoner in his own home.

We go over how each episode fits in to the overall plot of the first Book and the rest of the series. We also go into a little more detail on the character development in this first Book.

Aang meets Koh and learns of the danger to the Moon and Ocean Spirits. We get to see a crazy awesome spirit attack unleashed, and Yue becomes the moon.

Everyone is coming together for the finale. All the pieces align at the North Pole, and all hope seems lost by the end of this episode as the water tribe and Aang try to fight off the Fire Nation.

In this episode we cheer as Katara fights the Patriarchy. Sokka also falls in love, and Zuko is nearly assasinated. Oh! And Aang finally starts mastering waterbending.

Aang grapples with preserving the past and accepting change as the Gaang deals with a Fire Nation attack on the Northern Air Temple.

Aang learns something firebending, Katara learns healing, and we all learn a little more about Zhao.

We meet Bato and learn more about Water Tribe traditions and their culture. We also meet June, a bounty hunter with an intimidating creature.

SPOILER ALERT. This episode does a lot of foreshadowing for later in the series, so we try to keep it to a minimum, but we let you know when it’s full of spoilers.
