This episode we meet a professor and a spirit that both love the pursuit of knowledge. The Gaang also finds information to help them deal with the Fire Nation.

This episode is a tale of two boys learning different bending techniques. Aang is learning earthbending and Zuko is learning lightning bending.

Tensions rise as the Gaang, now joined by Toph, is chased all through the night by Azula.

The Gaang faces a problem they never considered before when they go to an Earth kingdom town that hates the Avatar. Aang stands trial for a deed from his past life, and we see more of the Blue Spirit and some heavy choices that Zuko has to make.

The Gaang gets grounded in a swamp that haunts them with visions, and they learn some important information for Aang’s journey to learn earthbending and learn more about being the Avatar.

The Gaang invade the conquered city of Omashu to find Bumi, but they end up freeing the citizens and meeting Azula and her formidable gang.
